STING - sting between radiators. Design element of the bathroom at an affordable price. Radiator with flat horizontal tubes in a round design and non-traditional vertical profiles, behind which metal handles are hidden. The advantage is the central connection with a standard spacing of 50 mm.
If the heater is only heated electrically, i.e. only a heating rod is used, a 1/2" radiator plug must be purchased additionaly. This serves to plug the other hole in the heater which would otherwise be used for the central heating connection valve. We recommend filling the heater with distilled water. It is also recommended to pour in the LIKIDO antifreeze and anti-corrosive heat transfer fluid. It is necessary to use a heating rod with the same or similar performance according to the specification of the radiator. For heating rods with a thermostat, the temperature of the liquid in the heater is controlled.
In the case of central heating, the selection of the connection valves is very important. You can choose between using a manual valve or a valve with a thermostatic head.
Manual valve: the valve control head can be installed on the left/right side regardless of the hot water supply location. The temperatur eis controlled manually.A valve with a thermostatic head: the integrated thermostat maintains the temperature inside the towel rail. The thermostatic head must be located at the hot water inlet (except MONO ONE).
The connection valves we offer are supplied with a clamping fitting for the most common pipes (O15 mm for copper and O16 mm for Alupex), so there is no need to buy anything else for the connection. For covering the inlet pipes and holes in the wall, we recommend the addition of cover rosettes.
Dual fuel towel rails combine two types of heating - central and electric. They can be connected to the central heating system, and also to an electric socket. We recommend a heating rod with the same or similar performance according to the specification of the radiator.
If you have a heater with a central connection, in depends on whether the heating rod can be connected via a valve (in such case a combination valve is used) or whether the rod is connected separately to the side part of the radiator (using a conventional valve). In case of a side connection, a combination valve is always used. There is a choice of using a manual valve or a valve with a thermostatic head
